About Mother Nature's Doctor

My path to becoming a doctor of acupuncture and Oriental Medicine started with a simple yet powerful belief: the body knows how to heal itself, it just needs the right support. That belief became my calling, and in 2004, I earned my Master’s degree in Oriental Medicine from the Oregon College of Oriental Medicine in Portland, Oregon. Over 3,000 hours of study later, I was more inspired than ever to begin helping people live healthier, more balanced lives.

Shortly after graduating, I opened Healing Horizons Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine in Grand Junction, Colorado. But I wasn’t done learning. While still treating patients, I returned to OCOM to pursue my clinical doctorate, specializing in women’s health, fertility, and geriatrics. I had the privilege of training with world-renowned doctors from both the U.S. and China—an experience that deepened my understanding and appreciation for this powerful medicine.

In 2009, I took a big leap and founded Healing Horizons Integrated Health Solutions. I created this space to bring together a team of like-minded practitioners who share the same vision: to offer truly integrative care. That means combining the best of Oriental Medicine with psychology, chiropractic, nutrition, homeopathy, functional medicine, and even conventional medicine, because when we work together, healing happens on a deeper level.

Over the years, I’ve had the honor of working with thousands of patients, and their stories continue to inspire me every day. Watching people reclaim their health and rediscover their vitality is what keeps me going. It’s also what led me to write my book, Save Your Life Now: Your Health is in Your Hands, a guide to help people become active, empowered participants in their own healing journey.

In 2025, I launched Mother Nature’s Doctor, an online community created to empower people everywhere to take charge of their health, access trusted natural healing resources, and connect with tools that support lasting wellness, no matter where they live.

At the heart of everything I do is the belief that true health is possible when we listen, to our bodies, to each other, and to the wisdom of many healing traditions working together.
